Cork’s own Ireland and Munster rugby legend Ronan O’Gara helped launch the new office Party of FOD Solicitors which celebrated the firm’s recent expansion from Grand Parade to 11, Pembroke Street in Cork.
The who’s who guest list partied like it was 2008 as the launch party went off in style. Guests were greeted on arrival with a glass of champagne and also enjoyed platters of sushi later in the evening. O’Gara swapped a rugby ball for a chance to try out his legal skills as he posed for a shot with the team of FOD Solicitors seated at their Boardroom table. The hot topic of conversation was split between the new offices of the firm and of course the recent triumph of Munster over Harlequins and possibilities for the rest of the season. The rugby star, who is close friends with the firm, was seen to be chatting, taking pictures with and on occasion even passing drinks to guests!
John Powell, Solicitor at FOD Solicitors, states that ‘It is great to have Ronan attending the event and supporting what we do here at FOD Solicitors. As a company we believe in a fresh way of doing business with a strong focus on information technology and reducing cost while improving service. It is great to see people including Ronan supporting us and our principles.’
The future looks bright for FOD Solicitors who plan to continue their development and growth throughout 2013 and beyond, serving as an encouraging example for both the profession and general businesses alike.
